The Glasgow Scribes are excited to welcome Dr. Manny Ling to Glasgow for an Informal Roman Capitals workshop!
Dr. Ling is an internationally renowned calligrapher, designer, popular workshop tutor and Fellow of the Calligraphy & Lettering Arts Society (CLAS). He is alos a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland with several other roles - Programme Leader for the MA in Design, Director of Studies for PhD research in design and Director of the International Research Centre for Calligraphy. Manny has written/contributed to numerous design and calligraphy publications and also exhibitis and delivers talks/presentations internationally.
This workshop will introduce participants to informal Roman Capitals created using graphite, coloured and watercolour pencils.
